East Tennessee saw strong winds
Saturday night during a line of thunderstorms which brought down some
power lines across the region.
These are the totals into the early morning hours of Sunday according to
local utility boards
Alcoa Electric
More than five substations are affected as of 12:20 a.m.
Chandler substation has five members without power.
Wildwood substation has 106 members without power.
Blockhouse substation has 40 members without power.
Duncan substation has 60 members without power.
Proffitt-Springs substation has 47 people without power.
Heritage substation has 33 people without power.
Power crews are working to restore power in these areas.
Appalachian Electric Cooperative
872 customers are without power as of 12:25 a.m.
Fort Loudoun Electric Cooperative
More than 44 customers are without power in Blount and Loudon counties
as of 12:25 a.m.
108 customers are without power in Monroe County.
10 are without power in Loudon County.
Knoxville Utilities Board
8,527 customers are without power as of 12:20 a.m.
Lenoir City Utility Board
More than 1,500 customers are without power as of 11 p.m.
Power crews are working to restore power in West Knox County in the
Farragut and West Knoxville areas.
Volunteer Energy Cooperative
More than 4,445 customers are without power as of 12:25 a.m.
That includes more than 218 are without power in Decatur, Tenn.
1,072 are without power in Spring City.
2,173 are out of power in Cleveland.
580 are without power in Monterey.
Crews are working to restore power in these areas at this time.
