Journalist Melanie Morgan spoke out
about allegations she made against Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.).
Morgan said she was "intimidated" by Franken during a 2000 taping of
Bill Maher's "Politically Incorrect."
She said Franken engaged in a "mundane argument" with her about policy
and budgets.
"I would challenge him and he would come back over the top," Morgan
said.
After the show, Morgan said Franken "stalked me back over to the green
room."
She said that Franken got her telephone number from a producer and later
repeatedly called her.
Morgan said that the third time Franken called, she threatened to report
him to the authorities. |
