Tennessee Highway Patrol Says Multi-Car Crash Kills One In Monroe County

Tennessee Highway Patrol confirms one person is dead after a multi-vehicle wreck on I-75 southbound in Monroe County near Sweetwater.

THP said the wreck happened around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday night.

The crash shut down all southbound lanes and traffic was diverted to alternate routes for several hours.
