A man was shocked with a taser after
trying to get inside several cars on the University of Tennessee campus
Tuesday, according to Michael Grider, spokesman for Knox County Mayor
Tim Burchett.
Grider said the man was arrested after trying to get into Burchett's car
at the intersection of Lake Loudoun Boulevard and Phillip Fulmer Way.
Grider told Local 8 News the man ran toward Burchett's car, kicked at
the door, tried to get in, and then took off. That's when he said
Burchett called 911.
Grider said the man attempted to get inside several cars. It was unclear
Tuesday night whether the man was charged. |
