Search Warrant In Maryville Uncovers Marijuana, $14K In Cash

A search warrant in Maryville Friday uncovered five pounds of marijuana and more than $14,000 in cash.

Blount County deputies arrested 23-year-old Jesse Malone on several drug related charges at his home on Wildwood Springs Road.

Investigators accused Malone of possessing and re-selling drugs in a drug-free zone.

Deputies also charged Malone with maintaining a dwelling where controlled substances are used or sold.

Malone is being held on a $10,000 bond and will appear before a judge on Nov. 1.
