OUR VIEW: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Needs To Put Someone In Jail Over Uranium One Deal Or Resign

This connection goes beyond a fake Russian anti-Dossier concerning President Trump but the control of 20% of our nation's uranium stocks that wound up in the hands of Russian agents during the Obama years while Clinton was Secretary of State and insanely Robert Mueller was in charge of the FBI who signed off on the deal. Yes, it's the same Robert Mueller who is investigating the collusion matter on behalf of Rob Rosenstein in the Justice Department who appointed him after current Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself.

If that dosen't make your head spin then let me add to the narrative. This gets better.

As The Hill reported last week, while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, a Kremlin-linked bank paid her husband, former President Bill Clinton, hundreds of thousands of dollars. Also during her tenure as top diplomat, earlier reports indicate Canadian and Russian business executives directed many millions more to the Clinton Foundation.

In fact, citing recently unsealed Federal Bureau of Investigation reports, The Hill described a thorough Russian campaign aimed at gaining access to the Clintons and capitalizing on their influence, while also spying on them to advance a pro-Russia agenda. In 2010, the FBI arrested 10 so-called “sleeper cell” Russian spies who had reportedly become too close to Hillary Clinton.

Meanwhile, while serving as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton was also overseeing a laundry list of U.S.-Russian initiatives and dealings.

Among other things, she served on the Committee on Foreign Investment, where she voted in favor of President Obama’s approval of the sale of Uranium One, a Canadian business, to a state-owned Russian nuclear energy outfit. At the time, the Canadian company controlled 20 percent of the U.S. uranium reserves.

Before the sale was approved, a Kremlin-linked bank that supported the deal paid Bill Clinton $500,000 for a 90-minute speech in Moscow to promote the Uranium One’s stock. Bill then met personally with Vladimir Putin. All the while, people linked with Uranium One – and its previous incarnation UrAsia – reportedly paid the Clinton Foundation $145 million in donations.

Then there is the issue of the Russia-Trump dossier which is connected to the overall issues in this nasty web of bribery and Clinton corruption at its best.

It was revealed this week that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee bought, funded, and instigated, the so-called "report" on Donald Trump during last year's election that was full of salacious and totally unproven dirt. Back then, the Clinton people denied any knowledge, and took great offense at the suggestion they knew anything about it.

All of the blathering has been a charade and nothing more.  What's worse is that the ones who were lying were the ones making it up and cutting deals while collecting the cash. Oh the mighty web we weave when we try to deceive. That is unless you're the Clintons.

This dossier was used not only to smear the president, it was used to create a special counsel and basis for congressional hearings, and the reason for wall to wall anti-President Trump coverage in the press. If the dossier was also used as the reason for further investigation, wiretaps, unmasking, and FISA warrants, then any results of that are illegal and unusable. In addition, it removes any reason for Robert Mueller to be around. He is neck deep in this scandal himself and should be fired!

You truly can’t make this stuff up. While the news media may continue to acknowledge the facts, they still claim there is no foul play on behalf of the Clintons in terms of the uranium deal.

The Media Research Center found that the ABC, NBC, and CBS evening shows have “spent only 3 minutes and 1 second on the Clinton Foundation scandal in more than two years.” In comparison, another Media Research Center report found that since Inauguration Day evening shows on these three networks have aired “1,000 minutes of coverage discussing Russia’s attempt to boost Trump in 2016, and speculation that Trump’s campaign may have colluded with the Russians in this project.”

And remember: The so-called collusion story came out of supposed opposition research we now know was funded by Clinton herself and her Democrat allies. The great irony of all this is that the Clintons started the so-called Russian collusion scandal, and in the end, they may be the ones destroyed by it.

It's without a doubt a news story that fittingly is coming back from the dead just before Halloween that should definitely scare a lot of Democrats, Bill and Hillary Clinton and Obama administration officials. The whole Trump-Russia story was nothing more than an effort to serve as a pure distraction aimed at masking real corruption by the Clinton political machine.

Thankfully, House and Senate Republicans have now launched new investigations into the Clintons’ ties to Russia – as well as Hillary’s illegal use of a private email server as Secretary of State. The email scandal is now even more significant given that we know that she continued to use a private, unsecured email server despite the FBI arresting a ring of Russian agents who were specifically targeting her.

Like every scandal, follow the money. The Department of Justice and Congress should demand that every single dollar donated to the Clinton Foundation and its charity initiatives be made public to show exactly where the Clintons derived their money.

There are likely millions of foreign dollars hidden away in foreign subsidiaries that were never reported in financial disclosures.

And that's brings us to the elephant in the room. ALL of this needs to be dealt with by a Justice Department and Attorney General Jeff Sessions who has been sitting on his duff and doing NOTHING! Sessions needs to do his job or get out and go back to Alabama.

President Trump tweeted today, “The Dems are using this terrible (and bad for our country) Witch Hunt for evil politics, but the R's ... are now fighting back like never before. There is so much GUILT by Democrats/Clinton, and now the facts are pouring out. DO SOMETHING!,” Trump also said. 

Sessions either needs to hire his own special counsel to investigate this entire matter or should be fired along with Mueller. The stink in Washington D.C. is not just from the swamp; it's from the putrid corruption by the elites that so want to protect their turf. It's time the Department of Justice not allow them to and blow the lid off the what is developing one of the greatest corruption scandals in American history.
