Greg Gutfeld reacted to
the "heroes" and "zeroes" in the aftermath of the Las Vegas massacre.
He praised the police officers and first responders, some of whose
actions were publicized through released body camera footage.
"Remember when bodycams were used to capture police infractions? But,
here they reveal men running into a hail of bullets. Pure heroism that
vastly dwarfs the abuses that the media magnifies," he said.
Gutfeld showed the story of one U.S. Marine veteran who stole a pickup
truck in order to ferry dozens of wounded concertgoers to the hospitals
to help EMS folks.
On the "zeroes" side, Gutfeld said a Drexel University professor blamed
the shooting on "white men... when they don't get what they want."
George Ciccariello-Maher said that white men are told they are entitled
to everything, and that the attack is what happens when they don't get
what they want.
"This is the same ghoul who called for white genocide," Gutfeld said of
the West Philadelphia educator.
Gutfeld also mentioned a Vermont newspaper which ran a cartoon that
showed dead bodies with the caption, "what happens in Vegas..." |
