A Las Vegas pastor is
preaching the importance of unity, faith and prayer following Sunday's
horrific massacre that left dozens of people dead and hundreds more
wounded. Paul
Goulet, senior pastor at the International Church of Las Vegas, told
Steve Doocy that the community has been absolutely devastated and there
are no easy answers.
He said his church has been
trying to help the healing process by holding prayer vigils and
providing support to those affected by the tragedy.
"We just cry with them.
Honestly, the thing about our community right now is we're just saying,
'We love you,'" Goulet said.
He added that they are
providing counselors for first responders, victims and family members,
some of whom are just arriving in Las Vegas unsure if their loved ones
are alive. "This
is a long-term healing process right now." |
