Knoxville Police Investigating East Knoxville Homicide

(SOURCE: WVLT) - One man died during an East Knoxville shooting Sunday, according to the Knoxville Police Department.

Investigators said a white man died from at least one gun shot wound near the intersection of Ben Hur Avenue and Selma Drive around 1:00.

Police are investigating the shooting as a homicide.

The victim's identity is not being released until all family members have been notified.

Knoxville police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to call 865-215-700 or message KPD on all social media accounts.
