TBI Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting In Harriman
A male was shot Saturday morning
in an officer-involved shooting, according to the Tennessee Bureau of
Investigation.
TBI agents were sent to the scene at 352 Mays Valley Road in Harriman.
Initial reports say Roane County deputies were confronted by a male with
a weapon when they responded to the scene Saturday morning.
The TBI confirmed the male was shot during a confrontation and
transported to UT Medical Center for treatment. His identity and age
have not been released at this time.
No officers were hurt during the incident.
