ALCOA, Tenn. -- City of Alcoa Police Chief
David Carswell announced Wednesday that two more men were charged in the
criminal homicide of an 18-year-old Maryville man. Four men total are
now charged in connection to the teen's death.
On July 25, Alcoa Police Department officers were dispatched to Topside
Road at Buck Drive at 10:42 p.m. for reports of a male who had suffered
multiple stab wounds. After Caleb Thomas Radford, 18, of Maryville was
pronounced dead at UT Medical Center, authorities announced the
investigation into his "apparent homicide."
Continuing the Radford homicide investigation, detectives from multiple
agencies and authorities from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation
worked to assist in finding those responsible for the homicide.
On August 3, Alcoa Police identified two men charged in connection with
the stabbing death as Keshawn Lonnell Hopewell, 21, of Alcoa, and Itiq
Tivone Green, 28, of Louisville.
Two additional men were charged in the homicide Wednesday. Camion D.
Patrick, 22, of Knoxville was taken into custody by Indiana University
campus police in Bloomington, Ind. Isaiah S. Wright, 20, of Harriman was
taken into custody by Harriman police officers.
Hopewell, Green, Patrick, and Wright now all face criminal homicide
charges.
Patrick will remain in Indiana pending an extradition hearing. Wright is
being held in Harriman and will be transported by Blount County
Sheriff’s deputies. Bonds and court appearances will be set upon their
arrival in Blount County.
