Man Admits To
Recording A Woman In Dorm Bathroom At UT Campus
A man admitted to recording a woman in a
dorm bathroom on the University of Tennessee's campus without her
consent, according to a criminal history report.
Howard Sterling Hensley II was charged with unlawful photographing in
violation of privacy after an incident on August 27 near Melrose Place.
Investigators say Hensley entered the women's restroom on the 7th floor
of the women's wing of Hess Hall on August 27 at 4:06 a.m.
Reports allege that while Hensley was in the dorm hall restroom, he held
an iPhone over a stall door and captured videos and photos of the female
victim inside the stall without consent.
On September 4, officers came in contact with Hensley within 50 yards of
Hess Hall. According to a criminal report, that's when Hensley confessed
to having entered the women's restroom and holding his phone over the
stall to record the female inside the stall.
