Woman Added
To Top Ten TBI's Most Wanted Located in Louisiana
A woman whose boyfriend was arrested a day
earlier was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top 10 Most
Wanted list in June. She is now in custody, after being located over
weekend in Louisiana.
Agents said 22-year-old Makayla Stilwell was spotted at a park in the
New Orleans area Sunday. She was located and arrested by members of the
U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force.
Authorities said Stilwell was wanted by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s
Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on several charges
including attempted second degree murder and especially aggravated
robbery.
Investigators said Stilwell was wanted in connection to a shooting that
occurred on June 20th in Kingsport.
Stilwell is also charged with aggravated kidnapping out of Hawkins
County. Her boyfriend, Jarret Heitmann, was also wanted in connection to
the kidnapping. Heitmann was arrested by authorities in New Orleans on
Thursday during a shoplifting incident. Stilwell was transported to a
hospital to undergo treatment for an injury sustained prior to her
arrest.
