"Politicians are the lowest form of
life on earth. Liberal Democrats are the lowest form of politician".
Those words were uttered by the late great General George S. Patton. I
have an additional form of scum that is even lower than liberal
Democrats to add to that statement - the news media of 2017.
President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump visited flood-stricken
victims Tuesday to meet with local officials and try to boost spirits in
a region where life and death has hung in the balance for so many since
Hurricane Harvey came ashore Friday night.
The death toll has risen to
21 in this historic and dangerous storm and sadly that number is going
to rise. The President was right in responding and visiting as quickly
as he did and we applaud him and the first lady again today for their
visit. President Trump said it was an honor to visit the victims -
something that a true leader recognizes in that he is here to serve the
people he leads, not the other way around.
Yet despite showing tremendous class
and grace in encouraging Texans and the entire nation to come together
in such a time of tragedy, the President still took an unfair beating in
the press.
The President has taken such a beating
since he first announced his candidacy in 2016, but there has been
something more ugly about this week's attack to me because instead of
the press recognizing that the President has done an awesome job in making
sure the federal government has done all it can for Harvey's victims,
the scum media, (my apologies to the true scum out there for putting you
on the same level as these lower than life individuals) hit a new low in
their level of dishonest reporting and revealing to all they are truly
the lowest form of life on earth as Patton
graciously defined so long ago.
Trump seemed to reference that and other coverage Wednesday morning when
he tweeted: "After reading the false reporting and even ferocious anger
in some dying magazines, it makes me wonder, WHY? All I want to do is #MAGA!"
Absent any major gaffes, the first
family's media critics instead took shots over everything from Melania
Trump's shoes to the fact Trump did not visit the major flood zone in
Houston, to the fact he wore a baseball cap during his press
conference. Someone in the press even criticized him for waving the
Texas flag saying it was "more like a campaign rally instead of showing
true sympathy for those suffering."
“It was a presidential trip to a deluged state where the president
didn’t meet a single storm victim, see an inch of rain or get near a
flooded street,” Politico wrote Tuesday of the president’s trip.
CNN reported that, “Trump ... dispensed no hugs or displays of
compassion to victims of the storm, whom he did not meet—perhaps a
symptom of the fact he insisted upon visiting the state in the immediate
aftermath of the storm precluding him from visiting the most devastated
region.”
The White House, though, had publicly said often before the trip that
the president did not want to disrupt local recovery efforts, which a
trip to Houston could have done.
“If he had gone, they would have said he was taking away from the
recovery efforts,” New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said on “Fox &
Friends” Wednesday morning. "In this situation right now with some
members of the media, this president can't win, it's not fair."
Case in point: The day began with snickering from reporters and
comedians on social media, about the first lady's high heels -- she wore
black pumps as she walked toward Marine One with the president.
Vogue covered the first lady’s outfit, with the headline: “Melania
Trump’s Hurricane Stilettos, and the White House’s Continual Failure to
Understand Optics.”
“Why, oh why, can’t this administration get anything, even a pair of
shoes, right?” Vogue’s article read.
When the president and first lady landed in Corpus Christi Tuesday,
though, Melania Trump was wearing a new outfit -- and sneakers.
The first lady's office hit back. “It’s sad that we have an active and
ongoing natural disaster in Texas, and people are worried about her
shoes,” the first lady’s Communications Director Stephanie Grisham told
Fox News via email.
The mockery went so far that it even prompted a reality check from one
of the administration's toughest critics.
“I don’t know why anyone should care what anyone wears when they’re on
their way to help people,” “The Daily Show’s” Trevor Noah said Tuesday
night.
But the Daily Beast then criticized Noah, slamming the comedian for
failing to mention that Trump “has been plugging his own merchandise
during the natural disaster.”
“How soon before Melania’s FLOTUS hat hits stores?” The Daily Beast
wrote early Wednesday, also criticizing Trump for "praising his crowd
size while also failing to acknowledge (or meet with) any of victims of
said disaster."
GOP Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, though,
indicated he supported Trump's decision to avoid Houston.
“The place he will be going to will not be Houston, so [he] will not be
getting into harm’s way or interrupting the evacuations or emergency
response in the Houston area,” Abbott said on “CBS This Morning” Monday.
Trump tweeted Wednesday in support of Texas storm victims: "After
witnessing first hand the horror & devastation caused by Hurricane
Harvey, my heart goes out even more so to the great people of Texas!"
While Trump’s trip to Corpus Christi Tuesday was dedicated to meetings
with local officials and emergency responders, he spoke to
storm-stricken residents, vowing to help them get back on their feet,
and promising a recovery effort “better than ever before.”
“We are here to take care of you,” Trump told a crowd outside a Corpus
Christi fire station before lifting a large Texas state flag. “We’re
going to get you back and operating immediately. We want to do it better
than ever before.”
The CNN "FAKE NEWS NETWORK" or the
"Crap" News Network as I like to call them actually questioned whether
the President had real "empathy" for the flood victims he visited during
a panel conversation Tuesday night. One of their reporters just "gushed"
that he just didn't hear enough "empathy" in the President's voice
during the entire visit insinuating that the President really didn't
care about those affected by Harvey.
To no one’s surprise, one of the
primary pipe organs complaining about this lack of sweet feelz, is the
fake news factory we call CNN. Looking tweedy and exactly like someone
eager to discuss ObamaCare on Christmas morning over a cup of hot cocoa,
CNN’s Jeff Zeleny moaned that he has seen, “Very little in terms of
empathy from this president. Very little in terms of emotion or talking
directly to the people of Texas.”
And yes, this is the same Jeff Zeleny who once asked President Obama to
tell the world about what most “enchants” him.
Things were not any better over at Fox News, where former-Bush 43 press
secretary Ari Fleischer all but bit his lip to express his dismay over
Trump’s lack of the sweet feelz, “There was something missing from what
President Trump said, that’s the empathy for the people who suffer.”
Rush Limbaugh pointed out Wednesday its
amazing to him how the press gets one word and passes it around in their
memos to all the networks and that word is repeated over and over and
over. Three months ago it was Russia. Two weeks ago it was "Nazi." One
week ago it was "racist." Today it's "empathy."
And this is the mistake the left-wing
pajama boys who infest the establishment media and Republican party make
when they lower themselves to this type criticism of the President.
How else to explain this breathtakingly
stupid narrative against President Trump over his supposed lack of
empathy for the people suffering in Texas under the oppression of
Hurricane Harvey?
I cannot think of a better rebuttal to
all of this metrosexual nonsense than a heroic woman‘s response to CNN’s
oh-so empathetic questioning: (WARNING A FEW TEXAS SIZE CURSE WORDS IN
HERE - THESE ARE HER EXACT COMMENTS:)
"Like people are really breaking down, and you are all sitting here with
cameras and microphones trying to ask us what the fuck is wrong with us.
And you really trying to understand with the microphone still in my face
with me shivering cold, with my kids wet and you are still putting a
microphone in my face."
That woman was not looking for empathy, she was looking for some help —
right now — in solving her immediate problems. And Trump was showing his
empathy through action, by doing everything in his power to solve those
immediate problems.
While I have never been in a natural disaster, like most people, I have
certainly lived through my share of crises, and the last thing you are
looking for in the middle of a crisis is something as utterly useless
and symbolic as empathy — especially from a stranger. If my house is
underwater, if my kids don’t know where they are going to sleep, if
everything I have ever worked for is about to be washed away into the
Gulf of Mexico, I don’t want your stupid feelz, your squeezing of my
shoulder, your words. What I do want is action, competence, a plan, and
a way out of this.
And that is exactly what Trump has so far delivered.
Let me put it this way…
Under Trump’s leadership, the federal government is so far doing such a
good job, all our useless media has to bellyache over is feelz and
shoes.
As one journalist put it so eloquently: "If I need it, the only people I
want empathy from are friends and loved ones. From doctors, all I want
is professionalism and a game plan. From first responders, all I want
are the jaws of life. From presidents, all I want is the red tape hit
with a flamethrower. From the media, all I want is their demise." Amen
to that last statement brother.
Everyone else just needs to do their damn job, and right now Trump is
showing just how much he cares by doing the best job anyone could ask
for.
And that is what makes the media's
attacks this week lower than low. Not ONE of these scum buckets wrote
their criticisms from the flood waters of Texas. They spewed their
stupidity and putrid comments from their high and dry palaces called
studios without seeing any of the suffering first hand or lifting a
pinky to help anyone caught in this tragedy.
They attacked the President out of
their hatred from HIM instead of their love for the nation and those
affected by this deadly Hurricane.
In addition, because he hasn't made any
major gaffes in the things he's said or done for that matter, they only
thing they could find to attack was him wearing a hat and the shoes the
first lady wore.
Amazing when Louisiana flooded last
year and then President Barrack Obama decided to play golf instead of
reaching out to the victims, no one complained about HIS golf shoes or
the club he used on the green. Despicable.
Who the hell do the media elites think
they are? People are DYING in Texas from a historic flood produced by a
deadly hurricane and we take shots at the President's hat???? We take
shots at the First Lady's SHOES????? It's more than sad, its beyond
pathetic and it simply reinforces the fact that the media are without a
doubt the most corrupt and evil institution in place in this nation in
2017. It's not they've lost credibility. The media has lost all humanity
and their very souls in their hatred of this President.
Yes, there is still plenty of time for
the President and his team to screw up. We are talking about the federal
government here. But so far the president has done a superb job, has
done exactly what I would want my president to do in a horrific crisis —
which is to get the gears turning, the money flowing, and the boots on
the ground necessary to give the people in Texas a chance to get their
lives back in order as much as they can after this tragedy beyond words.
Something else Trump has done that is
so much more important than biting his lip, is to express his confidence
in Texans. Instead of making this tragedy all about him with phony
tears, in what is almost certain to be THE iconic political moment of
Harvey, Trump climbed a ladder, hoisted the Texas flag, and announce
that “Texas can handle anything!” Oh. Hell. Yes.
I wander how President Obama would have
handled this? I'd place bets on the house he'd been calling for the
removal of the waters in the Gulf of Mexico which produced the hurricane
or decrying that somehow if we don't grab all the guns off the streets
of Houston the entire city will flood. Yes I'm laughing. Yes, it's true.
Yes, that's exactly what he'd done. All from the Washington D.C. links.
Let me remind you of two things.
President Trump is taking this barrage of attacks for free. He is not
taking a salary for doing this. Some will say "yea, but he's a
billionaire." Yes he is. He could be somewhere enjoying his billions and
doing other things but he chose to run for President to help this nation
get out of the mess the disaster Barrack Obama and his leftist
ideologies put us in for
the past eight years.
Secondly, and this is more important. President Donald J. Trump for better or
worse is going to be our President for the next four, possibly eight
years. If the scum press, the liberal Democrats, the never-Trump
Republicans and all traitors to this nation don't believe that those who
voted for him plan to fight with tooth and toenail against their lies
and slander against our President, they got another thing coming.
This is going to backfire on the media
and all those peddling in these petty attacks, mark it down.
When you criticize a President for
lifting spirits in time of a national tragedy you truly become the
lowest form of life on earth. Congratulations news media, CNN, MSNBC,
you won the award this week. Enjoy oblivion.
