Knox Co Mayoral Candidate Glenn Jacobs To Host Fundaraiser Thursday, August 17 Beck Cultural Exchange Center

KNOXVILLE, TENN. – August 14, 2017 – Knox County Mayoral Candidate Glenn Jacobs will host a fundraising reception to discuss economic development on Thursday, August 17 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Beck Cultural Exchange Center. The reception will feature keynote presentations from entrepreneur and Founder/CEO of Gateway Grocery Delivery, Patrick Bardsley as well as East Tennessee Children’s Hospital’s Director of Volunteer Services, Cheryl Allmon. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at the Jacobs for Mayor Facebook page or at the door that evening. Hors d'oeuvres by Caribbean Soul and soft drinks will be offered.

Patrick Bardsley, a 2011 graduate of West High School, founded Gateway Grocery Delivery in January 2017. The grocery delivery service assists the elderly and provides a consistent, helping hand for families with a task that will save countless hours and a lot of physical effort. Gateway Grocery Delivery operates within a 15-mile radius around downtown Knoxville and delivers for 11 grocery stores including Kroger, Food City, Sams Club and Walmart.
