19-Year Old Returned Home Safely After Reported Missing August 3
The Knox County Sheriff's Office said
Monday night a teenager missing from Knoxville since last week returned
safety to her mother's home.
Twyla Elaine Smothers, 19, had been reported missing after she was last
seen leaving an apartment on Nature Trails Boulevard with a male on
August 3 at around 9 p.m. She last had contact with her family on August
4 at 10:30 p.m.
Smothers returned to her mother's home in Crossville around 7 p.m.
Monday.
