Old Knoxville Woman Found Safe Early Saturday After Going Missing Late

UPDATE: KCSO confirms Mary Williams was
found safe early Saturday morning.
An officer with the University of Tennessee Police Department found her
in a parking garage on Neyland Drive around 3 a.m. after she was
involved in a minor single vehicle wreck. Police say she used an
'Emergency Blue Phone' that connects to UTPD Dispatch.
She appeared to be in good health and was uninjured.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office asked for the public's help finding a
missing woman from West Knox County Friday. 75-year-old Mary Carolyn
Williams was last seen by her family around 11:00 p.m.Thursday at her
home.
Williams was described as a white female, standing 5'2", weighing 110
pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue
pullover and blue pajama bottoms.
Williams is believed to be driving a 2012 white Subaru Outback with
Tennessee license plate NPC511, with a Tennessee specialty tag.
Williams was said to have Alzheimer's.
