The Henderson County Sheriff's Office in
North Carolina requested businesses in the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge,
Sevierville and Dandridge areas to check security cameras for
information after the body of a missing man was found.
Detectives with the sheriff's office are working to piece together the
timeline that Phillip Michael Stroupe II may have traveled after the
kidnapping and murder of Thomas Bryson. Bryson's body was located on
Sunday evening in Buncombe County, North Carolina.
Officials are looking for any camera footage of roads or parking areas
along the routes stretching from Gatlinburg to Dandridge between the
hours of 10:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26. Those with
security cameras should look for sightings of the 2007 silver Honda
Ridgeline or Stroupe himself, who is a suspect in the first degree
murder and kidnapping of Bryson, according to the sheriff's office.
