Phil Roe (R-TN) Diagnosed With Prostrate Cancer
WASHINGTON - The office of
Congressman Phil Roe (R-Tenn.) said Tuesday that after a routine
physical examination, the U.S. representative was diagnosed with
early-stage prostate cancer.
Roe will undergo treatment in East Tennessee during the August district
work period.
The statement from Roe's office said his prognosis is excellent and
treatment is not expected to interfere with his scheduled legislative
duties.
Congressman Roe's offices in Kingsport, Morristown and Washington, D.C.
will remain open.
The office said they will provide an update after his treatment has been
completed
