Fire Department Rescues Female From House Fire After She Saves Father,
Son From Blaze
Units from the Knoxville Fire Department
responded to a fire at 615 South Beaman Street at 8:29 p.m. Monday for
reports of a house fire.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found flames coming from
the garage of the home, and heavy black smoke was forced from all
openings.
One female victim was transported to an area hospital to be treated for
smoke inhalation. She reportedly removed her father and son from the
dangerous flames before going back several times to try and extinguish
the fire.
Firefighters looked for any additional victims but did not find any.
KFD said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
