Governor Haslam Offering $2,500 Reward For Information Leading To Arrest of Person Responsible For Hit and Run Death Of Teen In 2017 |
|
Governor Bill Haslam is offering a $2,500
reward for information leading to the apprehension, arrest and
conviction of the persons responsible for the death of a 19-year-old
teenager from 2017. Cordell Breighner, 19, was found dead in the early morning hours of July 15, 2017 on the OId Knoxville Highway. The Sevierville Police Department released information later that week that determined his death was the result of a hit-and-run. Now, after being requested to do so by the Sevier County District Attorney General James Dunn, the governor is asking for anyone with any information about the incident that can lead investigators to the persons responsible for his death to come forward. "We ask anyone with knowledge of the case to come forward to help bring to justice whoever is responsible for this crime," Haslam said. Anyone with any information can reach out to Detective Preston Parrish of the Sevierville Police Department at 865-453-5507. |
