Knoxville Fire Department Reports 33 Residents Displaced In Fire At Bell Walker's Crossing Apartments
The Knoxville Fire Department worked an apartment fire in West Knoxville on Wednesday. Crews were dispatched to Bell Walker's Crossing Apartments on Block House Way in the Walker Springs area at 10 a.m. Wednesday. About half of a 24-unit building caught on fire, according to KFD Captain D.J. Corcoran. It's a three-story building, and all residents were evacuated. KFD Captain DJ Corcoran said 33 residents will be displaced and assisted by the Red Cross.
