Sevierville Man Dies In Crash Late Wednesday Near The Island
Sevierville Police Department officers responded to a single vehicle crash on Boyd’s Creek Highway early this morning, Wednesday, July 19, 2017. The crash was reported at approximately 1:06AM by a resident in the area near Island Boulevard.

When officers arrived they discovered a single vehicle crash involving a Chrysler Town and Country van. According to SPD Sgt. Phillip West, it appears the van was traveling east on Boyd’s Creek Highway when it left the roadway on the right side and struck a tree. The driver, 32-year old Jason Hall of Sevier County, TN died apparently as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. There were no other occupants.
