Sevierville Police Receive Autopsy Results From Hit/Run Accident
Sevierville Police Department investigators received autopsy information this afternoon pertaining to the recent death of 19-year old Cordell Breighner. The autopsy was conducted at the Knox County Regional Forensics Center. The report states that the victim’s injuries are consistent with being struck by a motor vehicle.

SPD officers responded to Old Knoxville Highway at approximately 12:04AM on Saturday, July 15, 2017 after a passerby saw a person lying in the roadway. Investigators have asked for help from the public in locating the vehicle and driver involved in the crash. Despite investigating numerous leads and conducting interviews, no suspect has been identified thus far.
